Finely carved gilt oak wood.Ê A beautiful, massive brèche du Languedoc marble rests on a freeze of interlacing foliage with delicately carved rais de cÏur design, garlands of forget-me-not, roses flowers and acorns. The four legs are connected by a stretcher decorated with interlaces topped by a large vase issuing garlands of flowers . Legs are terminated by gadrooned balls. Louis XVI period.
