| Beautiful Mazarin Bureau. Ebony and blackened wood decorated with a rich polychrome marquetery representingÊ floral arrangements on the front and both sides. Stripes of pewter and ivory flowers inlays. The top depicts a magnificent basket of flowers with interlaced ribbons trimmed with birds, chimeras and masks.Ê The facade is slightly rounded and incorporates six drawers laid out in two caissons separated by a larger central drawer and a folding door. It stands on eight marquetry decorated tapering legs joined by two X-shapedÊ stretchers. Gilt lock mounts of a royal lily shape.ÊÊ
